General Policies

Our furniture is made for us under contract, and we sell to you, not to stores. We control our overhead, so we are able to sell furniture of the highest quality at reasonable prices. Furniture is shipped (in most cases directly from the manufacturer) as soon as it is ready. Special Order and Customized pieces do take time to create, and an approximate time frame is noted for your convenience in each product's description. We acknowledge your order as soon as it is received and, if this length of time has changed, we will indicate what you may expect for shipment at that time.

 

Materials

Furniture

We diligently search for traditionally crafted wood furniture. Most pieces are made of solid wood or wood veneers (note specifications in individual product descriptions). Some ornamental features are made of cast resin products. Please request specifics for any item in our collection. Some tables, chairs, and sofas are offered with a choice of wood finishes. This is indicated in the details of each piece.

Accessories

Specifications of the materials that are used are noted in each individual product's description.  

Fabrics

Swatches are mailed free of charge as availability permits. We always prefer that you have an actual sample (when available) of the leather or fabric that you are ordering to insure color accuracy. Some furniture offers fabric choices, customizations, and deluxe fabric options, but may incur an additional up-charge. *Please Note: Sample requests are limited to three per request.

 

Prices

We do not guarantee price matches. However, we will take price matching into consideration, and if price matches can be approved, they have to be in writing (must be a quote) BEFORE the transaction order is processed. Once the order is processed, prices cannot be changed.

Prices and availability of our products are subject to change without notice. The price on our website will supersede any catalog pricing.

 

Payment

Personal check (allow time to clear), money order, VISA, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover cards are accepted and should be included with your order. Payments can now be made on your Amazon, PayPal, or Synchrony Home accounts. PayPal also includes a Bill Me Later option on qualified accounts. Charges are made at the time your order is placed. Synchrony Home is currently offering No Interest if paid in full within 12 months. 

 

Returns/Cancellations

Orders that are requested to be cancelled or returned must first be reviewed and authorized by Magnolia Hall, and must be requested within 30 days of order. Not all items are eligible for review or consideration of cancellation or return however. For example: Special Order Items, Customized Items, Discontinued Items, and Discounted Items are not returnable, refundable, or cancellable. 

NOTE: Refusing the delivery of your items without prior approval from Magnolia Hall and/or a failure to make delivery due to inadequate access to the home are the responsibility of the customer and are NOT considered an authorized return. These orders will be subject to a 15% restocking charge and actual return shipping costs, which are the customer's responsibility to pay in full prior to a re-delivery. 

Orders that have been approved for a return, but are already in transit, will be subject to a 15% restocking charge and actual return shipping costs, which are the customer's responsibility. Once a return has been approved, you should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days). NOTE: Funds will be returned in the same manner in which they were received during processing.

To submit a request for the review of a return or cancellation, please Contact Us with your purchase order number and details about the product. If approved, we will respond with instructions for how to proceed with the return of the items from your order.

 

Shipping

Within the Contiguous United States

Smaller items in the catalog will be shipped by UPS or FedEx Ground.

Larger and heavier items are almost exclusively shipped by a company that specializes in furniture delivery. Your order is shipped directly to the location you specify. Shipping on every purchase you make is FREE! (On furniture purchases this is a savings of $300- $1200, and even more on larger purchases!)

Outside the Contiguous United States

Magnolia Hall can ship to a U.S. agent who would be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and signing for the product in our customer's behalf. This would conclude the purchase and Magnolia Hall’s liability for any damage and/or fees that may occur afterward. Each customer would then be responsible for making their own shipping arrangements from the U.S. to their location. Each customer will be responsible for any charges and/or fees that occur from their U.S. agent. These include, but are not limited to: freight charges, taxes, duties, inspections, packaging, storage, etc.

International

Magnolia Hall can ship to a U.S. agent who would be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and signing for the product in our customer's behalf. This would conclude the purchase and Magnolia Hall’s liability for any damage and/or fees that may occur afterward. Each customer would then be responsible for making their own shipping arrangements from the U.S. to their location. Each customer will be responsible for any charges and/or fees that occur from their U.S. agent. These include, but are not limited to: freight charges, taxes, duties, inspections, packaging, storage, etc.

Damage

All shipments are fully insured against damage. It is the customer’s responsibility to carefully inspect all items carefully BEFORE signing the freight bill. Failure to do so will cancel the insurance. Any damage discovered after delivery should be reported to Magnolia Hall and the shipping company promptly for consideration. On items delivered by UPS or FedEx, damage should be reported promptly to Magnolia Hall and the shipping company. All cartons and packing should be saved until resolution.

 

Layaway

For your convenience, you may select your furniture and take as long as 12 months to pay if your order is $500 or more. Take the total amount of purchase and divide by 12. This gives you the monthly amount to pay for a year. (If you wish a shorter time, divide by 6 and pay this amount for 6 months.) When the total is paid, furniture will be made up and shipped to you. You are guaranteed current pricing and protected against rising costs during the term of your layaway! To use this method of payment, just call our offices today at (866) 410-2755. You will receive a layaway agreement with confirmation of your order and calculation of your monthly payments. *Note: We cannot guarantee a fabric choice or item will remain available during the layaway term.

Layaway Refund & Terms Policies: Full refunds are available within the first 90 days. After 90 days of your first layaway payment your funds are no longer refundable. However, your layaway funds may be applied toward any other merchandise on the MagnoliaHall.com website of equal or greater value. The use of your layaway funds toward other Magnolia Hall merchandise are only available within 24 months of your first layaway payment, or within 12 months of the last layaway payment, whichever occurs first. After this time, any funds that were applied to a layaway will expire and will no longer be available. Your layaway pricing is only guaranteed and protect against increases within your layaway term of 12 months, which begins on the date of your first payment. If your layaway is not paid in full within the 12 month term, the pricing on your layaway will be updated to reflect the current cost(s) of each item(s) as currently shown on MagnoliaHall.com

We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive. Such addresses are not shared with outside parties, except to the extent necessary to complete the order or delivery. Emails may be collected for use by Magnolia Hall exclusively for periodic emails. Opportunity to opt-out is provided.

When you order our catalog from our website, you have the option of not having your information shared with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete the mailing of the catalog.

Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.

As the customer, I am responsible for making sure there is proper and adequate access to allow delivery into my desired location before ordering. I also understand that any damage discovered after delivery should be reported to Magnolia Hall and the shipping company PROMPTLY for consideration. On furniture/accessory items delivered by UPS or FedEx, damage should be reported promptly to Magnolia Hall and the shipping company for replacement or possible restoration. All cartons and packing should be saved until resolution.

I understand that it is the customer's responsibility to inspect each item for damage as it is brought to your home. After all of my furniture is delivered, the driver will ask me to sign the delivery receipt and you will receive a copy. I UNDERSTAND THAT IT IS IMPORTANT THAT I NOTE ANY DAMAGE ON THE FREIGHT BILL AND TAKE PHOTOS. (This includes damage to my home, or yard, or box / packaging). Additional information on this topic, along with other common customer questions, will be provided to me with my shipment notification (either by mail or email depending on my preferred mode of communication). Noting damage on the freight bill will allow insurance to take effect and rectify the situation either by restoring the item to factory standards or by replacing the item as necessary.
