Our first blog was posted on September 4, 2014.  It was entitled: “Ordering Furniture by Catalog”.  It discussed the history of purchasing by mail order, something that is becoming more common today, but at one time it was not so easy.  If you read the blog I think you will find it interesting.   Recently we decided to post two different kind of blogs.  We have had two product give-aways in the last several months.  The first was our Pollyanna Floor Lamp giveaway.

We had a number of entrants, all writing outstanding reasons why they wanted the Pollyanna in their home.  After careful consideration, a winner was selected, and we hope that they are enjoying their new lamp, just like you see in the picture above. The next giveaway was in the form of a game.

The Magnolia Hall Treasure Hunt

We heard some very nice comments from all the people who entered.  We heartily thank you your generous words, telling us how you appreciate our Romantic Furniture and Accessories.  One person made this nice comment:  “I love this new customer participation concept that Magnolia Hall has started. This truly speaks to the value and appreciation your organization holds for your customers.

I want to win this prize, because mama raised no fool! I know whatever Magnolia Hall is giving away has to be SPECTACULAR and would be a welcome addition to the aesthetic of my home. Let the hunt begin.”

One of the Treasure Hunters followed the clues and found the “Treasure”.  They were given a choice of three prize options, which they chose, and a bonus prize was sent.  What’s more, we were so impressed by some of the participant’s diligent efforts that we chose to send two of the hunters a consolation prize.  One of those “runner-ups” said: “OH THANKYOU!!! YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING!!!! CANT STOP CRYING!”

We hope to have more fun give-aways, and perhaps a hunt or two.  But, even though it was in good fun, it reminded us that we have had people following Magnolia Hall for many years!  And for that, we want to say……
