Tuscany Bedroom

The flourishing of private wealth in 14th century Italy produced the rich development in art and culture that we know today as the Renaissance. In interior design, this period was marked by the highly decorative painting of fine furniture. These brilliant designs borrowed from nature and frequently included elaborate floral patterns.

Magnolia Hall is pleased to offer a revival of this intensely romantic décor with our Tuscany collection. Crafted with hardwood veneers on hardwood solids, each product in this beautiful ensemble is heavy, sturdy and durable. Following assembly, each piece becomes a canvas for skilled artists. Using the same technique and palette as Renaissance masters, painters decorate the surfaces with moss green, antique white, brilliant gold and glorious bouquets of summer flowers. Finally, a clear protective coat is applied. The result is a collection that brings back to bedroom furniture the joy and splendor of the Romantic Age.
