Park Lane Bedroom

No modern furniture can hope to equal the carved majesty of the Victorian bedroom. The original Victorian beds and chests were substantial, ornate and very Old World. Today those pieces, if they can be found at all, command a small fortune.

With our Park Lane Suite, we offer a collection that is built on the same scale and with the same quality as the masterful Victorian bedrooms of 150 years ago-but at a fraction of the cost of antiques. Here you will find massive pieces that remind the visitor that he is in the presence of greatness.

Intricate carvings appear on the mirror, the armoire and the bedposts and headboard. Dresser, chests and nightstand feature shaped fronts and tops. A cameo carving and fluted pilasters appear on the armoire, dresser, and nightstand. Antique finish hardware is used throughout the grouping. All pieces are constructed with birch solids and cherry veneers, with awarm, hand-rubbed brown cherry finish. (Note: Center portion of posts on footboard may be removed at any time to lower height of posts.) Victorian bedroom furniture returns in all its glory.
